デジタル・ライブラリの蔵書がやっと５００冊に到達。自炊は文庫や新書サイズのものが主になって、やってもやっても空間の節約になっている実感がわかない。

The inline input/conversion has become stable because I understood the cause of the crash of Factor IDE. Click this image to see a video of the conversion. I have made progress towards completion, but the current implementation lacks a very large one. Inline conversion uses the underline display to tell the user the target area of the conversion operation and the break of the conversion unit. For now, there is no such feedback.

I want to make Factor inline input possible with CJK languages such as Japanese. So, I’m modifying it. However, I’ve got stuck. For example, I use the return key to confirm the conversion string, but I can not operate well because the key input to IM such as return passes over to Factor. I expected the key input to be received first by the IM, and the app received the input that was not consumed, but it seems that the IM can’t receive the input unless the Factor backend sends a key-down event.

Yahoo!ジオシティーズのサービスが３月末に終了してしまうので、当ブログの引越しをします。最近はほとんど更新していない状態で、移転してまで続ける必要があるのかと言われれば、まぁない訳だけど、そのうち気が変わって更新頻度が上がるかもしれんし。 有料のサーバ契約すると小遣い減るし、無料で広告いっぱい出るのも嫌だしと悩んだ末、GitHub に（只で）間借りさせてもらうことにした。 ブログの新しいアドレスは、https://kusumotonorio.github.io の予定です。気が向いたら覗いてやってください。

暫くブログの更新をサボっていたら、いつの間にか Jekyll が正常に動かなくなっており、ブログが書けなかった。アップデートで Ruby 環境が変わったのが原因らしい。いろいろやって結局直せなかったので、これを機会に最新の MacOS Mojave (10.14.2）にＯＳを入れ替えて、そこに Jekyll を入れることにした。 長年かけて溜まった、使わなくなったアプリ、設定やデータを新環境に出来るだけ持ってこない様にして、新年からスッキリを目指す。メールをはじめ各アプリのデータの移行、操作環境の再現などに一週間ほどかかったが、大体出来た様だ。前の環境からアプリを持ってきても、Mojave で動かないものも結構ある。Emacs が一番苦労した（終わってないけど）。 更新前は Jekyll にプラグインによる機能拡張を可能にする jekyll_ext（ejekyll）を使っていたけども、後に Jekyll 自体が機能拡張機構を持つ様になって、もう jekyll_ext はメンテされていないみたいだ。jekyll_ext で使っていたプラグインと同じことを Jekyll のプラグインで行うにはもっと勉強が必要になるので、ハードルを下げて最低限の動作で妥協。なんとか新年挨拶の更新までに間に合った。
